As one of the south’s most festive towns like something out of Hallmark style movie Natchez, MS offers a true southern styled Christmas experience. This two-day van tour will include both a few group activities along with free time to explore, shop and dine on your own.
We depart Rayne on DAY ONE stopping in St. Francisville for lunch before arriving in Natchez early afternoon. Our holiday experience begins with a visit to The Towers, this historic home has a unique style of decorating as hundreds costume and vintage jewels adorn all the trees, table pieces and other holiday pieces. After taking in all the sparkling details we check into our hotel then return downtown for you to stroll along decorated streets and enjoy dinner at one of the restaurants of your choice.
On the SECOND DAY we start of with a narrated carriage ride through the historic area learning of the city’s fascinating history. After our carriage ride, you’ll have time to visit some the shops for a little holiday shopping for some of those one-of-a-kind unique items. For lunch today we make the drive over to Ms. Colleen’s B&B for a private group lunch. Her home filled with numerous decorated trees throughout is sometimes referred to as a miniature Biltmore of the South. After our relaxing holiday lunch we head back downtown for a little more shopping before heading back home.
